Australia-Wide Quarantine Clearance Services For Small & Medium Businesses

Australia’s strict quarantine laws protect the flora and fauna down under from a number of biosecurity threats. But they also make importing goods to Australia that bit more difficult.

Even if you’re importing low-risk items such as plastic or electronics, your cargo may require additional documentation, treatment, or inspection due to your chosen packaging or the location you’re shipping from. And with stiff financial penalties for getting it wrong – plus the challenges associated with unexpected delays – compliance couldn’t be more important.

That’s where End To End Customs comes in.

How it works

Here’s how the process works:

  1. After you get in touch, we’ll go through your **cargo documentation to see what you’re importing and let you know if the AQIS will require any further documentation for your goods to pass through quarantine.
  2. If it makes strategic and financial sense to do so, we’ll organise these documents before your cargo reaches Australia. Otherwise, we’ll arrange to take care of any necessary actions after it arrives (for example, arranging fumigation for wooden furniture once it lands so you can secure a certificate of fumigation).
  3. Next, we’ll lodge your cargo’s entry with Customs and lodge your documentation with quarantine. They’ll let us know whether anything further is required before your cargo is released.
  4. If necessary we’ll take further steps to satisfy the AQIS or advocate with them on your behalf. Then your cargo will be released and you can be on your way.

**Necessary cargo documentation will vary, but we commonly require a packing declaration, fumigation and/or treatment certificates, cleanliness declarations, a manufacturer’s declaration, storage declarations, and import permits. Speak to your specially-assigned End To End Customs quarantine and customs broker to discuss the paperwork we need from you for your particular job today.
