Worldwide Customs Clearance Services for Brisbane & Australian Businesses

In today’s globalised world, running an import or export business can open up some amazing opportunities.

Yet with complicated and ever-changing trade laws in Australia and overseas, it can be difficult to know if your cargo meets all the necessary legislative requirements at any given time. Factor in the accompanying risks of missed duty concessions, expensive mistakes, or unexpected delays, and it’s clear that getting it right is essential.

That’s where End To End Customs comes in.

How it works

Whether you enlist our services for a one-off customs clearance job or you work with us on an ongoing basis, you can expect to be taken through the following process:

  1. After you provide us with your **full documentation, we review it and check your eligibility for relevant duty concessions. If necessary, we’ll help you organise any further documentation to make this happen.
  2. Next, we’ll assign each item in your cargo to its unique tariff classification and lodge the job with the local customs authority.
  3. Customs will tell us the total owing for your shipment (typically comprising duty, GST or equivalent, and an entry fee) and indicate if any further border or quarantine processing is required. If necessary, we’ll liaise and advocate with Customs on your behalf to ensure you get the best possible outcome.
  4. We’ll pass on your bill from Customs so you can get it paid to move your goods to a “CLEAR” status (subject to any other quarantine or customs regulations). Then you’ll be able to collect your cargo and be on your way!

**Necessary documentation will vary, but we commonly require a Bill of Lading (Sea Freight) or Airway Bill (Air Freight), a commercial invoice stating the price of your goods, a packing list advising your package weight and count, a Free Trade Agreement Certificate, and an Asbestos Declaration. Speak to your specially-assigned customs broker to discuss the paperwork we need from you for your particular job today.
